VoIP Wireless Headsets

There are a lot of different types of Wireless headsets, how do I know what is right for me and my VoIP phone?

Does this wireless stuff actually work?

Wireless headsets are much better than corded headsets for anyone who wants to be able to move around their work environment while on a call. The standard wireless headset should work with any of the phones we support (be sure to contact us to make sure your phone and headset are compatible before purchasing). We at BitBlock have a great deal of experience selling various types of wireless headsets, and we are very knowledgeable in which headsets our clients have had success with and which ones people have had issues with.

But I also want to be able to answer and hang up calls without walking back to my phone

This will require either Bluetooth, or a headset with lifters. Not as many VoIP phones are compatible with Bluetooth, but most people find it to be easier to use. Wireless headsets with lifters are an excellent alternative, the lifters will mechanically lift and drop the handset so that you do not have to go back to your phone every time you would like to hang up or answer a call.

Here are our wireless headset options (Bluetooth headsets are indicated):

Jabra PRO 9450 - Available in both single ear and double ear versions, these headsets have an excellent wireless range.

Plantronics CS510/ CS520 - Single and double ear versions or sleek comfortable headsets.

Plantronics CS540 - Convertible headset that can be used as a single ear headset or an over ear mic.
