Backup Plans

Features common to all plans include:

Usage above the minimum included storage and transfer allowance is billed monthly. Data may be accessed by FTP or other mechanisms tailored to the end user's needs. CD or DVD data copies may be scheduled or requested at any point in time (fees apply). Standard set-up includes configurization of the backup profiles on the host machines. Remote access is assumed. On site access is available on request (fees apply).

Currently there are two main backup plans offered:

Remote1 is for offsite backup from a client site or colocation facility in a different location than our systems. Remote1 includes 1GB of storage in the recurring monthly charge, and 2GB of Internet transfer for backup and recovery access.

Colo1 is for backup customers that are contained within our network (non-ADSL) or facility. Colo1 includes 2GB of storage in the recurring monthly charge, and no Internet transfer bandwidth. As long as the services are accessed via the Internal Network, no traffic charges will apply.

Adsl1 is for backup customers accessing the services via Bitblock ADSL. Adsl1 includes 1GB of storage in the recurring monthly charge, and 2GB of ADSL/ Internet transfer for backup and recovery access. Unlike 3rd party ADSL providers, this solution eliminates billing for ADSL traffic in addition to backup traffic - the traffic is only counted once.
