2017.03.11 Power Outage in Vancouver - Telephone & Internet disruption RESTORED

Service disruption occured from approximately 06:50 to 09:00 on Saturday, March 11th. More details will follow as we collect RFO's (reasons for outage) from suppliers. At this stage we can confirm a BC Hydro crew was replacing a power pole in the area. We can also confirm that some issue lead to collapse of the power system affecting power sources to Harbour Center. While generator and UPS (with notification of the impending failure) should have allowed for an orderly shut down and service transfer, this is not what happened.

Phone system operations were largely restored by 9:00 however some applications were not functioning completely until 10:13.

Some services (certain hosted websites and email) took longer to restore.

We apologize to any of our clients who were affected and will continue to work to ensure we deserve the trust you place in us.
