ADSL / VDSL (or commonly DSL) can be installed without an active phone service. This type of install is often known as "dry", "bare" or "naked"

The not-so-fine print…

Of course, it's not magic - there are a few things we need to cover...

1. You need a modem! We can provide one, or you can use your own. A modem supporting VDSL is required - we recommend the Actiontec T2200M
   • We can supply the Actiontec T2200M (modem) for only $95 (just select this on the order form)
   • Delivery (optional) is available (additional charge may apply)
      
2. Someone needs to set it up and make sure it’s connected:
   • Someone needs to be home for the official install date (telephone company staff may require access to the premises)
   • Unboxing and connecting the modem
   • Configuring your router for PPPOE login (account details supplied)
   • Many people can and prefer to self install. If you need wiring help, someone will have to be home for that too, but we can be more flexible when booking technician times. You may need to:
     • Check the phone jack
     • Change or trace wire on the phone jack (details available)
     • We can send a professional wiring person to complete the install if required
     • Select "Install Phone Jack" as YES if you want to do this at order time
   • If you prefer, we can send a cabler to do wiring, and even send a technician to do an on-site set up of your router:
     • Other providers may provide these services "free" but they charge much more per month (From $30 to $50 more per month)
     • Installing a new phone jack can be done for $110
     • On site network setup (configuring your router) can be done for $95
     • Phone support for a self install is free

We need a completed order form to get started - if you get stuck, please call us - we can help you with that process. We will confirm availability, and after talking you to, order the best available service.
