The SPA500DS is an add-on designed for the Cisco 500 Series phones. This sidecar has 15 programmable buttons and a "left" and "right" button which enable 30 programs in total that allow you to simplify dialling and call transfers as well as monitor remote extension activity through multi-coloured LED status lights. It is powered by the phone so additional plug in or power adaptor is required, and setup is simple. Two of these used together can add a total of 60 programmable buttons to any Cisco 500 Series phone.

BitBlock recommends the SPA500DS add-on for the user who would like to monitor the availability of other employees. This would be a useful add-on for a receptionist or a manager. It is also excellent for someone who likes to keep many contacts on speed dial. Unlike the SPA500S this add on has a digital display rather than a paper display.

Multiple phones can be enabled for reception duty - receptionists can work together in the same office or across the country!

This unit requires no labels, but it only displays the status of 15 extensions at a time - "left" and "right" buttons allow changing which are displayed.
