2013.05.17 08:30 PST - Packet loss detected at PIX

At approximately 8:30 am we detected packet loss in Vancouver. After investigation we confirmed the issue affects multiple carriers and have localized the issue to PIX. We have initiated routing changes to work around the issue until it is resolved. ALL Services may be affected until the route updates are complete - we will post an update as soon as the route changes are confirmed effective. Thank you.

2013.05.17 12:12 PST - Issue resolved.

The issue was traced to a member of the peering exchange which had bridged traffic improperly. Disconnecting them from the network has resolved the issue. We aren't sure when the mis-configuration occurred, however we will be monitoring it to make sure the issue does not re-appear.

Please report any other issues with network quality as this main issue has been resolved. We will investigate remaining tickets at this time.
