DNS Server Upgrade

New DNS software has been deployed which will simplify DNS maintenance and improve response time on updates. The new DNS servers and admin software have been deployed without displacing the original servers, and complete testing has been preformed - in the unlikely event of a problem relating to DNS or which may appear to be DNS related please contact support.

Tech Note: As a result of the upgrade, the "version numbers" on SOA records have been set back - this should not have any noticable effect as our TTL is quite short (typically under 10 minutes). Older slave servers based on Windows DNS Service, ISC BIND and other servers should re-cache this data upon expiry (typically less than 24 hours). No service effect is expected.
