Changing Fonts In Outlook

For the viewing pleasure of both the person who receives your email and you, the composer, Outlook has customizable fonts to make emails easier to read. Sometimes it can solve issues with your printer, save ink, or increase performance. These steps will guide you through customizing the fonts in Outlook.

  1. Open Outlook and choose the yellow File button in the top left corner.

    001

  2. Choose options from the left sidebar.

    002

  3. In the subsequent dialog box, select mail from the sidebar then click “Stationery and Fonts…”

    003

  4. In the next dialog box, choose the first font button.

    1. BitBlock would like to caution all users from customising the Theme by using the button above all the font customizations. Themes make emails larger in size and take longer to transmit. Additionally, if you’re using a server-based computer over Remote Desktop, you’ll notice significantly degraded performance working within Outlook. It’s best to keep the theme at its default setting.

  5. In the next dialog box, customize your font style and size. When you’re finished, click OK.

    005

  6. Select the other font buttons and adjust your fonts as necessary.

  7. When you are done customizing, click OK on all of the windows and resume working.
