Correcting Address/Contact Cache in Outlook
A common user error that occurs is when there is a bad address in the Contacts/Address Cache.
The way to fix this problem is to:

Start a new e-mail.

Start typing the e-mail address of the contact.

Find the Bad address and highlight it. (using arrow keys)

When BAD one is highlighted press the DELETE key.

Then correct the address/contact in the address/contacts book.

Create a new message
-
Start typing the contact's name
-
Press Ctrl+K. This checks the address/contacts book.
-
Complete sending the message to save or update the cache.
