First, go to the CPUID site and download the version you need here. You will need to find out if your operating system is 32 bit or 64 bit by following these instructions.

*NOTE – 32bit applications will work on a 64bit system but not vice versa.*

When you click on the download link you will be prompted to Save or Open the file, choose Save.

Create a new folder and extract the cpu-z .zip file into that folder

You will see three files after you extract the .zip file.

Now you can simply launch the cpuz .exe file.
