Import Into Outlook 2010

This guide will walk you through importing an Outlook Data File into Outlook 2010. The steps in this guide are identical for Outlook 2013.

1. Make sure you are on the "File" tab, select "Open", and click "Import".

2. In the Import and Export Wizard, select "Import from another program or file", then click "Next".

3. Select "Outlook Data File (.pst)" from the file type menu. Click "Next".

4. Click "Browse" to navigate to and select the Data file you wish to import. Select one of the import options. Generally you can leave it on "Replace duplicates with items imported". Click "Next".

5. Select the folders you wish to import. You can include subfolders (usually you will want this), as well as which mailbox you would like to import to. You can also choose to import into the folder you currently have selected in Outlook. Click "Finish".

The import wizard will now close and you will see your imported content in the folders that you specified.
